Purchasing queens and nucs locally is an important way of reducing the risk of bringing in disease and pests from abroad, whilst a critical and divisive topic at the moment it’s also important to remember the additional benefits.  By purchasing direct from bee farms in the UK that practice local production, we can provide much-needed support for the British beekeeping industry, buying locally adapted bees to support your beekeeping operation or hobby is more important than ever before.

For those beekeepers after European Buckfast, Carniolan from Slovakia, Ligustica from Italy, then I’m afraid this is not the place.  Our nucs are made up from local bees, open mated queens, right here in the UK from the south of Lincolnshire.  We continue to select for desirable traits and believe our bees will be better suited for your success as a farm or back garden hobbyist.

We have nucs for sale in a few formats to suit your needs and we’ll continue to do our best to meet your needs at the time you need.  As with anything in beekeeping we are often a slave to the weather so do bear with us in a time of erratic and changing seasons.  If you have any questions then please be sure to contact us by emailing team@beefarming.co.uk or by calling us on 07368 325658.
