As a small family run business we understand the importance of good service and a helping hand. Whether it’s a new and exciting hobby or the start of new beekeeping business venture, we understand the challenges ahead. We have your back.
We are dedicated supporters in the mission to propagate our local UK bee, and as such you will not find queens from Hungary, Greece, Italy, Romania or Slovenia within our operation. We will remain committed to supplying locally reared, open mated queens, from our apiaries in the South of Lincolnshire.
As we move forward we will continually introduce local genetics and UK pure breeds into our stocks and encourage our local beekeepers to do the same to further improve and diversify the local gene pool. In doing so we hope to safeguard the future of this species and prove their viability within the bee farming operation. We know that the UK bee farming industry can better self sustain ourselves rather than rely on European imports, and perhaps most importantly, help to safeguard our industry from the real threat of exotic pests.
We aim to keep things as simple as possible for new and experienced beekeepers alike through simple pricing and fast deliveries of both our queens and nucs. For those beekeepers who have yet to commit to our locally adapted queens we truly recommend that you give them a try and we promise that you won’t be disappointed.
